It’s that time of the year again, when Christmas music is heard from every public speaker, and we can’t believe how fast time flies. Wasn’t it just Christmas last year?

I thought of writing this blog post during holiday season to give some inspiration for travel gifts that you can buy for your friends and family.

7 Travel Gifts to Get Your Friends For the Holidays

Please note that every item on this list is a product that I personally own, trust and use regularly when I travel.   I hope you’ll enjoy some of these items and take into consideration my recommendations!

1. New Citizen Watch

I have gone through many different watches and brands over the years, but I just got a hold of a Citizen Watch from the new Drive Collection, which has all my needs in one device. The watch is powered by light (so no need for batteries!), it’s stylish, water resistant and it’s not crazy expensive.  In addition, Citizen Watches are so comfortable that I haven’t taken it off my wrist since I got it.  A great choice that makes me officially feel like I’m #AdultingLikeaPro.

2. Osprey 40L Backpack

I have gone through 4 travel backpacks since I started traveling full-time in 2013, and I’ve yet to find a better all-around bag than my Osprey 40L Porter series backpack.   I’ve had it for 2 years now and I don’t think I’ll ever get another one. The backpack is sleek, compact and comfortable, and the 40L size perfect to store all your clothes.   It also fits as a carry on bag for almost every airline, so you’ll never have to pay to check a bag again!

3. T-Mobile International SIM Card

I just switched over to T-Mobile’s international SIM card and I love it so far. It’s only $75 per month, and I get unlimited data and coverage in 140+ countries (the best plan on the market). This is so much easier than my old method of switching out SIM cards in each country I visit. It’s really a must-have for anyone who travels overseas often.

4. Bose Noise Canceling Headphones

When I’m working on my computer, I love to be zoned in so I can minimize distractions. Nothing is better to do this than my Bose Noise Quiet Comfort 25 noise canceling headphones.   I have them on my head right now as I’m writing this, and the sound quality is fantastic.  Bose just launched a new series of quiet comforts that are wireless, so you might want to look into those. They’re also great for airplanes to fall asleep!

5. Eagle Creek Packing Cubes

I use packing cubes to organize everything in my backpack. You can get color coded cubes, by a brand called Eagle Creek, where you can keep all of your clothing and accessories separated from each other. It’s best for keeping the stench of dirty clothes away from your clean clothes.  Make your life easier and get a hold of some packing cubes!

6. Mophie Portable Power Bank

Everyone knows how annoying and inconvenient it is to run out of battery on your phone, camera or electrical device when traveling.   Power Banks by Mophie are your solution! I travel with 4 (yes, four) travel banks, to avoid running out of battery on my phone (disclaimer: not all are mophie brands, but I find those to be the best).   If you’re like me, always on your phone Snapchatting, Instagramming and working online, then I’d recommend to get at least one power bank!

7. Lacie 1 TB Thunderbolt Drive

Keeping all of your photos, videos, music and important documents backed up while traveling is a priority.   While you can use the cloud (which I also recommend), it’s also great to have your own 1 TB Hardrive by Lacie where you can be 100% certain that your stuff is safe, as long as you don’t lose it! The 1TB Thunderbolt is the best drive on the market for the price.

So there you have it – my top gifts for the holidays!   I hope you now have some good ideas for what to get your wanderlust loved ones 😉
