I’ve been hooked on the thrill of bungee jumping ever since my first jump in Interlaken, Switzerland back in 2012.
I can’t explain to you the feeling of standing on the edge of the platform and looking down at the ground, seconds before jumping. After every jump I’ve completed, I felt like I could rule the world!
Here are the places that I’ve bungee jumped in a timeline in reverse chronological order:
1. Interlaken, Switzerland (2012)
My first bungee was the most memorable for me. I can never forget the emotions I had just seconds before jumping 150 meters in the middle of the Swiss Alps. Just look at this view!
2. Seoul, South Korea (2013)
When I was living in Seoul, my friends and I took a trip to the outskirts to go Bungee jumping in the middle of nowhere over this lake! It wasn’t the highest jump I’ve ever done, but for some reason I was more nervous than the first one.
3. Rishikesh, India (2013)
By far the scariest jump I’ve ever done, this one in India left me feeling dizzy for 48 hours after… During the jump, my body was spinning fast 360s and I blacked out for part of it… Never again will I bungee in India.
4. Sigulda, Latvia (2015)
In the beautiful countrysideof Latvia, outside a town called Sigulda, there is an 80m bungee jump that I did with my friend. I had a gopro attached to my helmet the entire jump, so you can watch it below and see my eyes almost popping out of my head!
5. Queenstown, New Zealand (2016)
The jump in Queenstown had the best landscape out of them all. I had to take a cable car up the mountain and then I jumped while looking out over the entire city! Check out this view!
